  1. Sign in to your QBO account.

  2. If you have multiple company files, be sure to be in the correct one.

  3. Settings (gear icon) --> Manage Users

  4. Select Add a User.

  5. Select the 'Company Admin' privileges set

  6. Check the box that says 'This user is my accountant'. (This will not be available if you are currently on the 'Simple Start' subscription level)

  7. Next --> Fill in your Client Advisors name and use their email. --> Save --> Finish

  8. Our team will then be provided with a link to bring your company file to our Accountant Version! From here our team is able to assign your company file to your Client Advisory team.

  9. You can check to ensure our team has accepted the invite within the 'Manage Users' screen. If we have yet to accept, it will state 'Invited' next to the user. it will state 'Active' once the invitation has been accepted.

  10. You may have up to two accountants per company file, in case you have a tax accountant in addition to Bookkeeper360 services!

  11. It is important to invite Bookkeeper360 as an accountant, as this allows us additional privileges over a standard user to efficiently service your account!
