Metrics

When comparing year-over-year data for your business, the Metrics page provides the best visual representation of your financials.

What is the Metrics page?

Our Metric page operates by overlaying line charts with multiple years of data, so you can see how your business is stacking up against itself year-over-year.

This tab will show how cyclical your business may be, with peaks and valleys showing over time. Each data tile displays each month’s data for a certain time period, so you can analyze how the different metrics may be influencing each other.

Filters/How to Use Page

Hover over each data tile to see the percentage difference year-over-year between each metric.

For example, the Revenue tile will show you for this month, how did it compare to last year dollar-wise, and what is the percentage difference (%+/%-)

You can also hide/show the current month, as well as update the default accounting method (Accrual or Cash), to get more customized information.

Tips: how much does your revenue impact your current working capital? If your Working Capital seems to remain flat even with record revenues, then perhaps your COGS need to be reviewed as selling more product hasn't increased your bank account.
